Patches Haberdashery is a small family run business based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. Established by Jemma in 2017 Originally named 'Craft It Yourself' we opened in a small premises on the outskirts of Huntingdon, which we quickly outgrew.
We then moved into the centre of the town in 2018 just off the main High Street where Diane joined the business. In larger premises we were able to expand our range of yarn, fabric and Haberdashery along with regular social groups for the local crafters to come together.
The business has fought its way through the pandemic and a rocky economy but has gladly made it through to the other side. However as a result the shop needed to move into slightly smaller premises due to increased rental costs and other overheads.
Moving into 2025, we hope to offer an ever helpful service and aim to be as competitive on price as possible. Also, focusing on improving our website and attending various shows up and down the UK to reach a wider audience!
